Allison Truj (they/them) is an artist, graphic designer, and poet living in Boston. Call them Truj, it rhymes with ‘Scrooge’! Their design work is the face of publications and nonprofits such as Ploughshares Literary Journal, the Radius of Arab American Writers (RAWI), Feminine Empowerment Movement Slam Tournament (FEMS), and more. A book they designed for Timber Mouse Press, They Rewrote Themselves Legendary, won Best in Show at the New England Book Show in 2018. They have a soft spot for botanical illustrations, off-kilter calligraphy, and working with poets to craft visual brands that “look the way their stories feel.” They’re so excited to hear about your project!
